What is the mediaHUB?

The University of Sunderland’s brilliant new innovative digital publishing and broadcasting space and home for its award winning Spark, and online websites for local news, local sport, fashion and arts and entertainment.

The ground-breaking workspace is designed to be a professional environment where the teams running the different digital platforms can work together to publish and broadcast content across Wearside and the world.

The design of the space was strongly influenced by the unique offices of Google, Netflix and Amazon and even has its very own cloud filled skyline, funky colour scheme and a shed for a meeting room.
